Currently The Angels are not meeting, due to COVID-19. However they are still getting together on-line for a WhatsApp Sing-A-Long, see the Reopening Plans page.
“The Angels” is our fun name for our very informal choir, where the emphasis is on singing to praise God and having fun. The Angels meet on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm in the Thornwood Room.
We call ourselves The Angels as we are a group who love to worship God. You don’t need to be a good singer. You just need to enjoy singing and enjoy worshipping with others. We sing all kinds of songs: songs of praise, worship songs, new and old favourites.
It doesn’t matter how you feel when you come into the room on a Thursday night, by the time you leave your heart is lifted, a smile is on your face and you have felt the joy of the Lord in your heart.
We sing for around an hour and then we have a cuppa and a chat with friends.
Come along any week!
All ages, sizes, shapes, sounds are welcome !!
Since 2013 The Angels have sponsored Irene Nakule through World Vision. Irene was born in 2006 and has two brothers. She lives with her family in Ntwetwe, which is located in central Uganda in the Kiboga District.
Irene likes to help her parents by collecting water, doing the dishes and sweeping the compound. At school she loves science and seeing her friends. The Angels send her Birthday and Christmas presents and she writes to them, telling them what she has been doing.
