The Guild

Currently The Guild is not meeting, due to COVID-19. Below describes activities in normal times.

The Church of Scotland Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland which invites and encourages both women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action.

With around 30,000 members, The Guild is one of Scotland’s largest voluntary organisations. Although women make up the bulk of our membership, increasingly, men are becoming members and taking active roles at local and national levels.

The Guild is about invitation, encouragement, commitment, and fellowship which leads to providing opportunities for continuing growth in Christian faith through worship, prayer and action.

At Viewpark, The Guild meets in the Small Hall on Monday evenings at 7.30 pm from the beginning of October until the end of March.  All ladies over 16 (and men too) will be warmly welcomed to an evening of fellowship, fun and time for a cup of tea and a chat.
